IF YOU WISH TO SPEAK TO A DOCTOR OR PRACTICE NURSE ON THE TELEPHONE
There may be times, other than through GP telephone triage, when you want to speak to a GP over the telephone. You may also want to speak to a Practice Nurse. On these occasions you should call the Practice between the following times.
GP
11.00am to 12.00 noon
1.00pm to 3.00pm
Practice Nurse
10.15am to 10.30am
3.30pm to 3.45pm
Whilst the Practice will make every effort to ensure your call can be taken by a GP/Practice Nurse there may be times when this is not possible. On such occasions your query will be recorded and you will be contacted by a member of the Primary Health Care Team as soon as an alternative GP/Practice Nurse becomes available.
Any request to speak to a GP or Practice Nurse outside of the above times will be recorded on the Practice’s electronic messaging system and a member of the Primary Health Care Team will return the call when they become available.
